Livingstone Productions is a well-established New Zealand based television production company with a track record of producing a variety of world class programming – on time and within budget.

Livingstone operations are project based and commercially flexible. In addition to the development of programmes from ideas generated internally, Livingstone also offers bespoke production for network operators and funded scriptwriters.

Based in Auckland New Zealand, Livingstone Productions was founded in 1989 by award winning Producer Director and Media Teacher John A Givins.

Since that time Livingstone has gained extensive experience with all types of television programme making including; documentaries, situation-comedy series, entertainment series, and the directing of fast turnaround drama as well as one off television specials. televised national events and talent quests.

The company has also been involved in the channel planning and delivery in Hong Kong with Star TV producing the one of the first pay TV channels in India and the Middle East.

Recently the company has been involved with the development and production of programmes for the Maori Television Service in both Maori and English.
